My Journey in Home Organisation and Interior Styling

Hello!

Less Mess. More Peace.

If you’re feeling busy, overwhelmed, or just not sure where to start, I’m here to help you create a calm, functional home — through practical organisation and thoughtful design.

“Organised” has been a word used to describe me for most of my life.

I’ve been a nurse for 30 years, a ‘Kids Hope’ mentor, and a team manager for kids’ sports teams. I’m also a mum of twins (now young adults) and the owner of two lively corgis — who test my organisational skills daily!

I understand the importance of organisation and balance, of using routines that work, and how the space and flow of your home affects your wellbeing – read more about why hiring a professional organiser makes a difference.

After many years in nursing, I decided to explore a new direction. I studied Interior Design — something I’d always been drawn to. I’d also long loved the idea of being a Professional Organiser, but it had felt out of reach, and I wasn’t sure how to begin.

So, after completing professional training in both organising and interior styling, I realised I could combine my skills and passions into a new career that helps people — as a professional home organiser and interior stylist.

I’ve helped friends and family with decluttering, set up new organising systems that work for them, and given interior styling advice for those rooms they always wondered how to better utilise. Seeing how these changes made such a difference to their enjoyment of their space inspired me to help others too.

My small business, Being Well Organised, is here to help you simplify and streamline your home for a more comfortable, organised life.
